WHO?

I’m Hannah Cao. I’m a barista by day and a writer of novels and poems by night. Always living on the edge between sanity and anxious fuel. I live and remember life the only way I know how: spilling my guts writing.

WHAT?

Technically speaking, this is a blog, or a digital journal, a collection of memories, writings, poems, photographs, book news & things I fell in love with. Make of it what you will because I will write to you whenever I feel like it, until I get bored with the act of writing, which will most likely never happen. I spend my hours and weeks moving spiritually and physically in between the places I call home for different reasons, and between the Past, the Future, the Now.

WHY?

The same reason anyone does what they do. In the same way people obsess about something and keep coming back to something. In the same way habits stick, like honey.

WHERE?

In the middle of a bustling crowd, sat in a café, in a flat (my own or another’s), behind a desk messy enough to find my keyboard, tangled between sheets in a bed, on the bus, somewhere between Dresden (where I live) and London (where my muse lives most of the time).
